10th Annual BuddyWalk
Oct 7. 4pm-9pm. Cost: $20 per participant.
All Ages. Join local children and adults with
Down Syndrome as they walk with their family,
friends and other supporters to promote Down
syndrome awareness and acceptance. The day
consists of a nice 1 mile walk, fun, fellowship,
music, face painting, interactive water fountain,
and lunch. This is a day to celebrate the
Down syndrome community and to promote
acceptance and inclusion. The walk will

volunteer and help sort food, pack backpacks,

8th Annual Walk A Mile In Her Shoes -
St. Lucie County
Oct 14. 9am-11am. Men are challenged to walk
one mile in women‘s red high-heeled shoes.
Most men quickly realize that it‘s not easy
walking in these shoes, but it‘s a light-hearted
way to get the community talking about
something that‘s otherwise difficult to talk
about...domestic violence. What started with a
handful of brave men has grown to hundreds of
community leaders, businessmen, youth groups,
fathers and sons. Please consider supporting this
